Tales from the Interface

Here’s a time lapse of last Saturday’s live stream. After the live event, I finished the drawing and this is the final inked drawing.
This drawing took me 2h total, pretty slow but I did it with no reference whatsoever. I’m pretty sure I could shave at least an hour with good reference. Still this is a good learning experience, I don’t think relying on reference constantly is a good way to practice. Practicing this way develops your memory. I usually draw my panel this way but will validate with some reference if I feel something is off.
This character is not part of Tales from the Interface, I just improvised it on the spot for fun.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, I’m thinking of doing another one for colouring. I could add a background too. Enjoy!
