2020 has been a hard year for so many people, but I feel hopeful for 2021.
I am now confident that TFTI No.3 will come out next year. I really want it to be spring, but I’ll never sacrifice quality. I will announce a preorder date when I am closer to the finish line.
I am currently working on color flats and there are LOTS of detail in the second half of the book. Takes a while to color all that. I was looking at the credits for Shaolin Cowboy and noticed that colors were done by a team of 7 people on the first book, 6 on the second. Insane details almost demands this. I can’t say my pages are as densely packed as Mr. Darrow (who can?), but it can give you a sense that colors are an enterprise by itself.
Anyway my thoughts are with you guys, I hope you are doing well in these circumstance and I wish the best for you in 2021.
