Here’s a time lapse from the last live stream. Sadly I forgot to record part of the sketching process. I love drawing dinosaurs. I should do more.

Here’s a time lapse of last Saturday’s live stream. After the live event, I finished the drawing and this is the final inked drawing.
This drawing took me 2h total, pretty slow but I did it with no reference whatsoever. I’m pretty sure I could shave at least an hour with good reference. Still this is a good learning experience, I don’t think relying on reference constantly is a good way to practice. Practicing this way develops your memory. I usually draw my panel this way but will validate with some reference if I feel something is off.
This character is not part of Tales from the Interface, I just improvised it on the spot for fun.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, I’m thinking of doing another one for colouring. I could add a background too. Enjoy!

This Saturday I decided to treat myself and work on a character concept of some kind of cyberpunk apocalyptic warrior. Let me know what you think!
I hope to see you next Saturday at 9AM. I am planning to color the character.
In last Saturday live session, I worked on a page in its early stages. I talk about some of the things to watch out in order to make a dialog page more entertaining.
I also tested my new microphone, I must say it is a huge improvement over my previous setup!
Let me know what you think, your feedback is always appreciated.
I hope to see you next Saturday at 9AM EST on Youtube!
Happy new year everyone!
Can you believe 2020 is dawning upon us? It certainly nothing like what I imagined as a kid. My car still doesn’t fly, even when the doors are opened. We still haven’t received our jetpacks. I am not a professional chef with a restaurant that only serves dishes containing eggs. But, I am still making comics as I did when I was a kid. I think my younger self would dig that.
As usual, it has been a very busy year. Besides working on TFTI, I’ve also done a 5 pages story for an anthology. Waiting for news on that but will let you know when I have some.
I’ve also been more active on youtube and started posting weekly streams. It’s a very relaxed thing where you can see me draw comics for an hour. I talk about my process and comics in general. I may even invite guests eventually. I am working on future pages so be advised that it contains spoilers… Drop in and say hello, I’d love to hear from you! http://youtube.com/emmanuelfilteau
The next book is progressing smoothly. Inks are nearly done for chapter 6 and colouring should be completed this summer. So you can expect to see the brand-new never published chapter 6 on this site before fall 2020.
Fans of the comic have been incredibly patient up to now with the slow update rate. Just to reiterate, I can only spend a couple of hours everyday on this. I would love to spend more time on TFTI but it is not yet financially viable from book/merch sales alone. If you are in a position to contribute, you can pledge to my Patreon for as little as $1/mo. You will get access to early versions of the pages, PDFs as well as a private discord chat. http://patreon.com/inkorpora
If you’d prefer a one-time donation, you can support the comic via Ko-fi. Every donation is appreciated. http://ko-fi.com/inkorpora
This summer I will be at the MCAF again. I truly enjoy this comic festival. It’s a great way to connect with like-minded people and meet some of my readers in person. If you are in the Montréal region this summer, I highly recommend it! https://www.fbdm-mcaf.ca/en/
I hope you had a great 2019 and wish you a brand new flying car for 2020 (or whatever you wish for)
