Description
When the virtual world became so advanced that we lost interest in reality, access became rationed according to privilege and social status.
Tales from the Interface draws inspiration from classic science-fiction and fantasy short stories, but with a dash of surrealism.

What critics had to say:
“Beautifully horrific, lazily violent and thoroughly unpredictable, Tales of the Interface is a fantastical portrayal of a dystopian future which reveals terrible truths about our own possible future.”
Morgan Quaid, superseriouscomics.com
“I really get the feel of some of the more out-there stories in Judge Dredd, or a weird amalgamation of some of the more off the wall Future Shocks. This is high praise and should be read to be enjoyed. I can see people settling down on a dark night to read this as it totally immerses you into it.”
“Filteau’s artwork is brilliantly detailed and packed full of clever references – one incidental detail that particularly stood out and provoked a chuckle was the presence of a pair of citizens very closely resembling Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street. His art style felt similar in its level of detail to Geof Darrow’s, though Filteau’s blackly comedic sensibilities with matter-of-fact gore and nudity (that never feels gratuitous) sets it apart and gives his visuals a unique feel.”
“Writing about how impressive it is does not equate to how impressive it is. You have to see it. Read it. Allow it to sweep up your senses, grind you into mush and recycle you into a new being.”
“The fertile imagination of Filteau brings us to a totally crazy universe as the graphic style evolves through the stories — very impressive.”
“…throughout the story the changes of scene are sudden and dramatic, making opportunity for a lot of different cool sceneries and adding to the ‘psychedelic’ feel of being pulled along without really knowing what’s happening (don’t worry, all is explained at the end)”
