Tales from the Interface

Clara looks like she’s in some kind of disco from hell. I do like to make use of colour backgrounds occasionally, for example if the focus should be on the character rather than the surroundings, but it can get tricky. Sometimes it might look lazy. I try to put more interest into it by adding a few gradients. I use to hate them but I think there is a way to use them that works. In my opinion, one of the key things is subtlety, restraint. While there are probably cases where a strong gradient would work, I find that most of the time, a little goes a long way.

Do you like new schedule? To avoid hiatus, I cannot post new pages more often, but I could post earlier in the day though.
